This is what a 96 damper with a vacuum line looks like. When the diaphragm develops a hole the gasoline under pressure from the fuel rail flows through the vacuum line. They only used this part in MY 1996.

This is what the Pierburg 72243801 (Volvo 1275658) damper used from 97 on looks like:

And this is what the fuel rail attached FPR used up though 1995 looks like:

I have a new in box FP regulator with your numbers on it if that is what you need. It looks like the one posted by 850oldschool. I also have a pic of what the 96 850t one looks like, also at the fuel rail, I believe it generates more pressure, 3.0 bar over the NA one. The one I have in box is oe Bosch, what came on the car. I will not use it, so someone can!

That's good to know! I placed an order with Injector Planet and they emailed me a confirmation, but I'm guessing sometime today or tomorrow a human being will look at the order and realize they their inventory was wrong and they'll cancel it. Or maybe not? Maybe they have the last NOS on the planet.

Just checked Sveedy, and she has the rail mounted FPR that looks like the pic ( 4917 ), so maybe turbos were set up differently in that regard from NA models.

Injector Planet confounded the experts and came through with one of these unusual little parts.
