coolant temperature sensor for 98' S70 GLT

Postby MelissaB. » Fri Dec 28, 2007 5:02 am

I am having a problem locating the coolant temperature sensor on my 98' S70 GLT 5-T. I did the OBD-II and it gave the code P10117- the C.T.S. I had the water pump replaced, timing belt, and serpentine belt replaced in Sept. 07'. Since then the CL light is on. I could really use a picture of where the sensor is located, all I could find was one on the thermostat housing.? Any tips, picts., etc. is GREATLY appreciated!

Thank You, Melissa

The one on the thermostat housing is correct.

As you can see, it is at the end of the thermostat housing, right under the coolant hose that runs to the radiator.

You can find it here for $30 (same as the 850 water temperature sensor): or here for $25: ... -368-1345/
