Ok, lets say that I found a T5 donor car at a local junk yard (I think there is one still there with everything in it) Would I be able to basically, just move the motor from that car to mine, it's only 600 bucks for a whole car, and once I'm done, I can take it back and get 200 bucks back for it, lol

The turbo swap seems the better option of the two, especially once you've located a donor car as there is just so much more stuff on a turbo car. View this post for turbo vs n/a head differences: http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... =1&t=32936

If you end up with a bad turbo head you can swap the valves over and have the combustion chamber machined on the N/A for lower compression. Good luck in finding a donor car.

Keep in mind the donor car needs to be a 94 or 95 so the wiring harness will work. Or you'll have to swap a lot more parts as well.

By "basically, just move the motor" do you mean move the engine, turbo, most of the vacuum lines, the front half of the exhaust, wiring harness, radiator, airbox, ECU and instrument cluster (plus probably some things I didn't think of)? Then yep, just move the motor.

You can actually keep your NA intake manifold if you want, along with the starter alternator and p/s pump.

Well I was doing a little snooping around on eBay, (I won't get the car from there but still) I found a 97, I will try to find one closer to my year, but I'm pretty sure that there is one in one of the junk yards near me.

Here is the car, its in West Virginia so its only about 3 hours from me: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Volvo-85 ... sQ5fTrucks

What I meant though was move everything from under the hood over, lol. But it seems like it would be pretty straight forward. I'm going to try and find one that was wrecked in the rear end, like the one on ebay.

P.S. No luck on the seats, and I still need help with my passengers side headlight wiper. I just need to know how to get to the motor. I've fixed them before on friends cars, but I don't know how to get them in or out and I don't live near any of those friends anymore :(. So if you guys could help me with that, that would be great

Thanks All :D
