Mod question please.

If there are posts which (IMHO) violate the "good English " rule what is the preferred action?

1 shut up and let us moderators do our thing... :D

2 politely remind poster to review the guideline by link to same

3 use "alert button" to flag post for moderator action

4 other?

Thanks

I edit the ones that annoy me. Things "They're, their, there" and huge run on paragraphs that are impossible to read are my pet peeves.

But it's mostly just 3 of us around here and our presence isn't that frequent lately, so we may miss some. Please help us out - flag a post or send one of the mods a PM if you see something offensive or annoying on the site.

Thanks JB .

The text talk is really annoying but I don't want to create lots of mod work either. Being a moderator on other boards I know how this kind of thing can snowball. I'll try to keep flagging only the egregious violators....
