2000 S70 Stalling and rough acceleration w/codes (P1610, P0116, P1618, P0600 & P0717, P0722)
My 2000 S70 (non-turbo) has 136,000 miles and overall in pretty good condition. I replaced the ETM a month ago and the car had been running great until the last few weeks. The Speedo seems to be erractic and acceleration sluggish at times. The Service Light came on and the CEL along with the Flashing Up Arrow. I have a Foxwell NT-301 Code Reader and initially pulled codes P0717 (Input/Turbine Speed Sensor A Circuit No Signal) & P0722 (Output Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal). After reading some posts it seems it could be the PNP switch or Auto Trans Speed Sensor. I asked the customer service rep at FCP Auto and they agreed without seeing the car that either or both could solve the problem. So I put it off for a week to see if the car ran any worse and while driving it the brakes were a bit squishy at times (master cylinder about to fail?) and acceleration was not the smoothest and once it just died at low idle and would not restart until after 5-minutes. I drove it home with no problems and re-checked codes but now get new codes P1610 (Please refer to Vehicle Service Manual...must be service light), P0116 (Engine coolant temp Sensor 1 Circuit Range/Performance), P1618 (Glow Plug/Heater Relay Circ Short to B+), P0600 (Serial communication Link)? No codes for P0717 or P0722 (since I cleared the them on reader for new codes). The Flashing Up Arrow is still on and the CEL goes on and off...Any ideas or suggestions?

P1610 is an ETM fault. P1618 is a transmission code (you obviously don't have a glow plug).
You really need to get a VIDA/DICE scan to get a correct interpretation of the codes. On a 2000 N/A I think you have a 5 speed automatic and they are problematic.
With VIDA and DICE you can put the ETM through a series of tests which is something that a standard scanner can't do.

Lee,
Any recommendations best place to purchase (website). I purchased the Fox Code Reader from IPD thinking it would be sufficient.
