There is a port that runs up a casting in the block that plugs with sludge in a neglected engine. By ramming a piece of tubing into the port, you remove the sludge about a cm at a time , pull the hose out, either clip it or blow the sludge out , and repeat

There is a nice set of pictures in one of the PCV threads.

If the blockage is all hardened (very common) you will need something much harder than tubing, like a screwdriver or drill bit, to clean out the port. You really want to get the hole completely free of debris.

I just put a long zip tie down the lower port and it went most of the way in. Like 6" or so. Both ports on block are free of clogs. Where in the hell would the crank case still be plugged? Pan removal?

Valve seals have to be allowing the oil to billow out.

It's gotta be that. I re did the whole pcv today. Replaced vacuumed lines. Did 5/8" heater hose replacement on main return line. Put seafoam in where was instructed.Thanx for all replies and help. I learned a lot about my engine in all this. I'll keep up to date on how this all turns out.

Also make sure the hoses are not reversed on top of the oil trap. The one at the back left goes to the top of the head.

I yield. Can't figure out where the excess pressure is coming from. Im gonna get new maf sensor. I so appreciate all the help. Love this site.
