Installation of Towing hitch
Installation of Towing hitch
I hope to begin towing a gheenoe behind my 1998 v70 FWD, the whole right should weigh no more than approx. 700. The wagon has nothing don't to it as far as preparation for towing. Any input into what materials, hardware, tools, and or parts I will need would be greatly appreciated I hope to do the install myself to save some money.

I have the Volvo hitch on my 1999 which is a thing of beauty but it was tres expensive.
Its rated at 3500# tow.
I had to remove the bumper cover and rear wheel well plastic to install and wire.
I think I would put a cheaper Curtis or Haul hitch on an old car now.

I would check your local picknpull for the hitch- three bolts and you may not have to remove the bumper brackets then you need a wiring doodad- I dont know where to get yours- all mine came from wrecks
