Hi guys,
I'm doing some preventative maintenance on my cooling system and I've replaced the upper and lower radiator hoses, the thermostat and temp sensor, the expansion tank, both heater hoses, the hoses going to the oil cooler, and both lines going to the expansion tank. Am I missing anything?
Thanks!

There is a real nasty one to get to that goes to the turbo and it is usually the biggest problem child of all of them.

Whoops. I forgot to add that I will do both turbo waterlines shortly. How bad are they to get to?Ozark Lee wrote:There is a real nasty one to get to that goes to the turbo and it is usually the biggest problem child of all of them.

once you spin the screw clamp around with a hammer and screw driver, its not too difficult.
Definitely replace them, both of mine were bulging and the car didn't have man miles on it

You have
short one between water pipe and manifold
short hose to turbo
Short hose between PCV and thermostat junction
all three of which are pretty nasty on a FWD and downright torture on an AWD.

Lucky me. Do you have a part number for the PCV hose?abscate wrote:You have
