The one dollar value makes sure title is transferred on those turd hoses and thereby releases the seller from all liability therein.

Seriously, it’s in the rubber compounding. Cheap parts are made cheap by cutting corners on the stuff in the rubber, which is fine for some things, but not coolant hoses.

So I thought I'd weigh in on the uro hoses since I drive the most miles per year. Hahahaha.

I replaced the entire cooling system with uro hoses besides the heater hoses which are original I think. I have the uro hoses but the quick connect in the firewall kept walking into the firewall when I tried to disconnect so I said screw it and left them. I've put about 40,000 miles on them in a year and a half and have yet to have any issues.

Now I have to remind everyone I'm broke and use my car for work (about 150 miles a day 6 days a week) so every penny counts. 🤣
