P0325 After PCV Heater Hose Mod

Post by charleskennedy23 » Sun Jul 30, 2017 8:46 pm

Hi Friends!

I drive a 98 V70 T5 and I recently did the PCV heater hose mod after breaking the PCV hard pipe. I got everything put back together and now I am getting the P0325 code for the knock sensor. I did remove the knock sensor while I was replacing the PCV hard pipe so I believe that I may have not re-installed the knock sensor at the right angle. So I have two questions:

1) how bad for the car will it be to drive around with the knock sensor not functioning properly? I typically run 93 octane fuel in the car.

2) Do I need to plan on replacing the knock sensor or is the issue really as simple as making sure the sensor is turned at about a 92-93 degree angle per Robery DIY's video on you tube (

thanks for the help!

They take hardly any torque, so watch that wrench when reinstalling.

Alldata says 20Nm or just a wrist twist tight

That being said, this is one of those codes that almost always leads somewhere else.
