You guys have helped me in the past so I'm working on my 94, 850 and I've caused an issue and ones found me. First it wasn't running well (actually quit running)so I bought a fuel filter for it. My over eager son help me when I was out of the garage getting some tools. He changed filter for me and the car runs,YEAH. Problem is when he took the old one off or put the new one on he rolled the o-rings in the quick connect on the tank side of the filter, I was able to pull out several pieces as they were cut. Well it can't seal without them, so can they be replaced? I've looked for them but with no avail. Am I okay to just cut the gas line and use a barb fitting and short piece of rubber line with clamps. I don't want to drop the tank and replace the whole line if I don't have to.
Second issue, I keep blowing fuses for the winshield wipers. I replaced the motor still a dead short somewhere. Iv'e pulled the dash and switch cover to get to the steering colum for wire inspection. I can't seem to find anything. I've disconected the headlamp wipers, and pulled the harness for them loose lokking for a bad wire, all's good. I haven't replaced the switch beacuse continuity seems good on it. If it's sitting still sometimes the fuse holds, it's when I turn the wipers on it blows the fuse, and sometimes if it's parked it's fine start driving it with the wipers on the fuse blows. Any suggestions?? thanks Randy

Scour the webs for the wiring diagram , trace the wires and find the chafe spot. It's ugly work but there aren't shortcuts. The obvious wire here is the supply from switch to wiper motor.
Get a replacement connector from a junkyard on the oring, then either hose that in or pull the oring and replace
