Volvo 850 model year changes 1994 -> 1995

Hi! This thread is the same thing as 1993->1994 850 changes, but a year later.

As always, model years are North American Volvo models, but talk about 850s from other markets is absolutely welcomed.

Summary of characteristics for the 1995 850... things are unchanged from the 1994 850, except for:

• Standard (base), GLT and Turbo trims
• 850 T5-R model introduction
• daytime running lights (DRLs)
• side airbags standard on the 850 Turbo sedan and wagon and a $500 option on N/A models
• base wagon offered
• GLT designation returns, positioned one step up from base 850s

Was that little antenna in the back of the roof a factory thing, for the European market perhaps? Hmmm.

For the North American model, the taillights were changed on the sedan for 1995.

That rear bumper on the red car is not from it.It's from '95 model car.
Bumpers were different up to '95 and from '95.

US/NA models used the 1995 style bumpers and headlights in 1994. The older style bumpers were only used for MY 1993.
