Can someone kindly tell me the different sizes and amounts of vacuum hose for a 1998 V70 GLT 2.o liter.
Have a coolant leak and cannot find it, driving me bonkers! Going to replace all the radiator hoses and turbo hoses and thought I may as well do the vacuum hoses at the same time.
thanx,

Can someone kindly tell me the different sizes and lengths of vacuum hose for a 1998 V70 GLT 2.0 liter. Lots of diagrams showing what goes where but am having a difficult time finding the different hose sizes and lengths.
Have a coolant leak that I cannot find and it's been driving me bonkers. Going to replace all the radiator-heater hoses along with the turbo hoses. Thought I'd do the vacuum hoses at the same time.
thanx,

Your best option, unless you want to get a pre-made kit, is to buy silicone vacuum hose in 4, 5 and 6 mm, and cut to length. Swap out one at a time, and be careful with routing to things like TCV and those things. Getting to the ones on the turbo is the worst part, but with patience and long, thin fingers, it's mostly just going slow and steady.
If you're doing the brake booster vacuum line as well, use 8 mm (I think) ID reinforced fuel hose. That hose MUST NOT be something that might collapse in a do or die kind of situation.

I believe I read somewhere that 12ft of each is enough, but I cannot confirm.
