Heatgun, flat screwdriver and a lots of patience.
Not enough heat...it will crack.
More than enough heat....it will melt.
Assembly is glued...even if you open it....you will need to find a proper glue to close it.

I did it using lots of hot water and a plastic screwdriver to wiggle the lenses off of the housing.
Leave the entire assembly sitting in a bucket of hot water for a while, then try prying of the lens.
I then cleaned the housing and put it back together using a hot glue gun.

I had one fall off and reassembly was fairly easy with clear silicone caulk. If you can get them apart intentionally be sure to leave the weep holes on the bottom open when you glue it back together.

Great tip on the weep holes, Lee.

Heat gun and perseverance. Its like opening and iPad - too much, broken glass, too little, broken glass.

Re: has anyone on here opened up there front signal lights?
using the heatgun is not the same as opening headlights and resealing headlights. i don't know what glue they use on the corners and don't want to break them.
