Hi guys,
Recently, my car battery died and I had to call AA. After the battery replacement, both of my remote controls stopped working and it looks like the alarm is not working either as the LED light for the alarm is not lighting up at all.
So far I have researched the problem online and done the following:
1 - Changed the batteries on both of the remote controls (CR2016 3v)
2 - Checked the fuse box on the bonnet. Fuses for alarm, remote control and central locking are all fine.
3 - Disconnected the car battery for a few minutes and reconnected it.
4 - Followed the instructions from this post. https://itstillruns.com/volvo-keyless-e ... 52333.html
5 - Tried to lock/unlock the car while pressing the lock/unlock buttons(separately) on the remote control.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance!
