Hello all. I just bought a 98 S70 T5 manual to tinker with and use for getting around town. Consistently driving my work truck around in tourist season gets exhausting. Car seems mechanically sound, runs great, shifts well. Judging by paper work timing belt, pcv, single mass flywheel and clutch all were done in the last 10K miles. It has some ipd sway bars and links, their motor mounts, and their intake. I need to do control arms and get the SRS light off. The inside tan leather and carpet was beat, so I started off gutting it, I found a black leather swap that granted me everything newer, lest the drivers seat and RL door panel. I guess my question would be, are there proactive steps I can take to avoid squeaking inside with the newer stuff? I laid some Noico under the carpets, and magically got things removed without cracking them... are there any areas I should pay close attention to or "common" clips that I should purchase instead of re-use?
Looks like you guys have a nice forum over here
