Post by wrybread » Thu May 16, 2019 12:39 pm

I wish I had some excuse to buy this:

Low miles, turbo, loaded (even has the heated seats), pristine. Dayum.

For whatever it's worth, I live in San Francisco and just bought my s70 in San Diego... Flew down one way to pick it up. Buying the one way plane fare that afternoon was $180 and I was able to use that as a bargaining point and got half from the seller.

The roadtrip home was a fun way to get to know the car. Of course that's assuming there's no surprises, and my roadtrip was pretty short compared. I had him send over the maintenance records and do the pcv test before I went down.

On the other end of the spectrum, this $500 S70 non turbo just came up. One cyclindar isn't firing, I wonder if they tried the obvious things:

Not that it matters much, but the car in question is a 98', not a 99'.

It is really clean though and priced right.

96' 850 sedan, base, auto, pewter/charcoal, 106k miles
99' S70, base, 5-speed manual, nautic blue/ tan, 209k miles
04' V70, auto, ash gold/ tan, 222k miles
05' V70, 5-speed manual, loaded, mistral green/ tan, 142k miles
79' Ford Capri S, Euro Spec 2.8 V6, T9 5-speed manual
58' Porsche Diesel Junior
13' Honda Odyssey
