Short to ground... where is it? Fuse 11A/8 Topic is solved

Maybe it's the tailgate latch? I know it's bad, I have to slam it sometimes 5-6 times before it latches properly. The trunk area light also doesn't work, because that circuit passes through the latch.

Oh yeah. That’s it.

If you strip open the wiring loom in the left tailgate hinge Area , you will find broken wires.

That can also short out your central locking which then takes out the immobilizer.

Yeah, I had that harness apart once already to fix my center brake light... it seems that was the only wire that was actually broken, believe it or not! I've been waiting for a good latch to appear at the junkyard.
