2000 V70 xc junk yard save
So I picked up a 2000 v70xc AWD from a guy going to scrap it. $600 later I was driving it home. Feels like it’s in limp mode. No power and can’t feel turbo spooling up. No blower on AC but compressor kicks on and it get cold. Open the sunroof and it will pull air through and it’s cool. CHeck engine light is on. I traced it down to a fuse in the engine bay. Fuses isAppears that the AC and emissions are on the same fuse. In the attached pic the fuse is number 14. Pulled the blower motor and runs off 12v in the garage. Unplugged the motor and resistor after metering the resistor and all appears fine. With those unplugged fuse still pops. So this leads me to believe something in the emissions is shorted or blown. Anyone have a diagram of the emissions components and their locations. I imagine a secondary air pump or EGR and evap system may be the culprits. I will keep inspecting and unplugging the testing the fuse to see when I get a good fuse to stay.

Unplugged both o2 sensors with no luck. Looking for some easier to access emissions connectors to unplug.

You won’t have neither EGR nor air pump on a 2000 XC. You might have an air pump relay , though, just to drive you crazy looking for the air pump

What about an evap system? What else would be on that circuit? Seems like I have an oil leak somewhere. Engine is a mess with oil. Degreased it today for the first time. It’s running in limp mode due to the fuse being blown. Anyone have a list of things on that circuit I can check off? Figured 02’s and blowers and relay would be easiest. All those checked out so need to know where else to look for what’s blowing the fuse.

Oil is likely PCV, turbo oil lines, or oil cap gasket.
If you have fuses to spare you could try to see when it pops. By this I mean does it pop as soon as the key is set to run or does the engine actually have to be running? Is it as soon as it starts or only when you give it gas? Does it have to be under high load or just cruising? This can point to which system it is.
You could use a tone generator on various wires and isolate each system that way. Follow the sound and check components along the way. I found some bad grounds that way on my 99 V70.

I’m not sure that emission designation on that fuse is right . If you have ME7 the only emission electrical stiff are
Canister shutoff valve
Purge valve
Cam solenoid on exhaust
Two OXS

I'm pretty certain the ETM fuse is shared with the ECM. The ETM is the electronic throttle. These can blow fuses all day long when the internal armature shorts against the magnet.
Unplug the ETM connector it's a 6 pin grey connector down low on the subframe. Can be a total pain to undo the first time due to dirt ingress. Loosening it with a lubricant spray will help.

Re: 2000 V70 xc junk yard save
Ive been caught on this before, the 1999 ME7 (which I have) and the 2000 ME7 are not the same, so OP has to hunt down 2000 ME7 electrical to proceed.
My 1999 ME7 shows the ECM getting 12V from 11A/8 unswitched, and 11B/1 via the relay
The ETM seems to get power from the ECM, unfused on my 1999. Hard to imagine the 2000 is different?
