Bosch 10 digit numbers indicates just part number for ecu.
Each Bosch part number is for a hardware and software package. That is why there are so many Bosh part numbers for M4.4 ECMs even know the hardware is the same.
As long as he can identify the correct hardware/software package he is good to go. So plain and simple a child could understand it.
Does it say:
In which 0 261 204 134 is the hardware ID 1037358586 is the software ID
9125329 001 is the Volvo partnumber

'91 Citroen XM 2.0 SI /fully equipped/mandarine red metallic

^^ Incorrigible or argues for the sake of arguing. ^^
Never make a point.
Also when you connect the car with Vol-Fcr and start communication....it shows you module ID and software ID.
Software ID doesn't contain any number from module ID(hardware).

The most important is that the Bosch number is the same(0 261 204 456).
2nd important thing is that it's matched with transmission.
If you have automatic transmission you will need ecu from the car with automatic transmission.
Since you have only one ecu in ecu box...you have manual transmission.
So you will need the ecu from a car with manual transmission.
Software is a bit different for manual & auto transmission....like idle speed and some other things.
3rd important thing is guarantee that ecu is ok and working.
The last numbers under last barcode...i think...is production date and serial number.
