Non adjustable timing on P80s. The ECU controls timing on these cars.

I’m leaning to a bad coil module giving me weak spark unable to ignite.

Part number 1275174

Anyone give me feedback on

Not meyle. I am normally the #1 advocate for a cheaper part but my meyle coil failed after 15k miles (6 months).

Do you have a parts car you can pull a coil off of?

Also front fire is where the ether or other flammable liquid explodes through the front of the engine or intake as opposed to the back hence front fire instead of back fire. This fire can easily melt a mass airflow sensor. Which happened to me on my first Volvo. :-) so double check your maf abscate

+1 on the coil.

Had a similar issue with my last v70. Resulted in a no start, and when we did have it started it sputtered, misfired, and stalled out quite rapidly.

Hopefully that is the issue.

Here’s a video of my sparks. This is notoriously hard to film because the spark duration and frequency during cranking is near frame rate but. You can see some sparks in the video

Current thinking, this is a weak spark and new coil is needed

I found the 98's coil, its a dusty and old original Bosch, but car was running at the time of disassembly.

Like the car, the coil is "as-is, no warranties expressed or implied" ha -

Replaced with known good coil, no start

Cranking weak. Check spark, no spark at cylinder

BatteRy voltage 11.9, on charger

Check voltage at charger , 11.9

Switch to backup charger , now pulling 4 amps

Your killing me , Earl

You mentioned slight gasoline smell at exhaust before. Could this thing be hopelessly flooded?

Just watch this video at low speed. Firing order is wrong, 1-4-3-2-5. Must be 1-2-4-5-3.
If my English is bad, please correct me
