Service indicator reset

Post by aussievolvodriver »

Hi guys, great forum.

I've had a bit of a search but can't find the answer I'm looking for.

We recently purchased a 2006 XC90 2.5T 5cyl and did a service on it at about 106,000km. As the nearest Volvo service centre is about 2 hours away I had it done at a local workshop.

Now a few thousand km later the "time for regular service" warning is flashing up. I've been through the owners manual but can't find anything in there about resetting it.

Anybody have any experience with this please?

Cheers,

Cam

This one worked for my 05 XC90, it should be what you need. Read through the whole thing, there are a few different techniques.
05 V70R TiKap (so happy) 91K
05 XC90 2.5T FWD TiBlak 97K
94 850 wagon 2.4 (N/A) 155K (Sold running like a champ)

 Thanks for that. I had tried that previously but it hadn't worked.

It seems you have to get the timing just right. Thanks!
