I have a volvo XC90 T6. How long do I need to wait to let the turbo to slow down before shutting off the engine? I've heard that shutting off the engine immediately without slowing down the turbo may ruin it. Is this true.

I give my 850 about 5 seconds of idle in Park before I shut it off. I have no scientific analysis to back this, it's pure guesswork. But it comes at a small cost.
