2008 XC90 3.2 AWD
Just finished tranny (gearbox) swap and everything works well.
However, having some trouble with the lower radiator hose in the front.
The plastic part that attaches to the water pipe coming from the water pump
seems to come loose even though I push it all the way up on the pipe and turn the grey tightening part.
Anyone come across this before?
Thanks

Re: 3-Way Radiator Hose Problem
I did replace mine on my 2008 Land Rover 3.2 but i didn't replace it on my 2010 S80 3.2 (Same engine for both)
So its been a while.
If I understand the lock correctly you need to rotate it to align to the pockets shown in the picture below and then the latch will click when it seats in the recess of the pipe.
To unlatch you rotate the grey part so that it is not in the recess and then disconnect the pipe
Here is a picture of the mating piece

Re: 3-Way Radiator Hose Problem
Thanks. If it comes loose again I’ll pay more attention to the pockets as a guide.
