s80 2.4 140bhp increase to 170bhp Topic is solved

Hi new to these so just starting out, is it possible to increase bhp simply by changing the ecu. ? What is the difference between the 140 and the 170 models, ie is it just the ecu?

you can generally definetly get a kick from a good ECU upgrade, you be shackled to 93 octane, and frequent service inspection. to me it WAY worth it.
i get 286->302 HP and 280->340ft-lb's on my T6, i don't know if they offer one for the 2.4L
