2001 S80 2.0T Auto Transmission Problem

Post by gokhanors »

Hello everyone, as I mentioned in the title, I have a major transmission problem with my car. I hope I can find a solution here. My car has been unusable for a month. I bought the car in June this year. It had 115,000 km and was in very good condition. My car is a two-wheel drive and has an Aisin 55.50 sn five-speed fully automatic transmission. There was a very harsh jolt during gear changes in the transmission.

We completely overhauled the transmission, excluding the casing. There were no fault records prior to this procedure, except for knocking. After assembling the transmission and installing it in the vehicle, the gears stopped working. No matter which gear position you put the gear lever in, the vehicle does not move from its place, and the RPM rises as if it were in neutral, but the vehicle does not move. Has anyone encountered or heard of such a malfunction before?

When we read the vehicle's fault codes, it started showing multiple issues at once. TCM error, airbag error, etc. My guess is that it looks like an electrical fault. But I wanted to consult with you before doing anything.

I need your help on this matter. Thank you in advance.

 Hello again, two days ago The replaced solenoids turned out to be faulty. Everything was fixed when they were replaced with new ones. The transmission problem is gone.
But today Unfortunately,
The transmission problem has started again. Even though everything has been replaced, the vehicle runs smoothly when it's cold and first started. Once it warms up, if you're driving on the highway in 5th gear, it's fine. But whenever you slow down and stop, the vehicle won't move again in D gear. After turning the ignition on and off a couple of times, it starts moving again, but after a while, the same problem occurs where it won't shift gears. I'm at a loss as to what to do. There doesn't seem to be a TCM issue either.
Can anyone help me?

Did you use a recommended transmission fluid? Is the fluid at the proper level? Is the TCM wiring harness connector properly seated for good comnnection? Are the ground connections for Canbus good?
Is it setting any codes?
