I’m currently replacing the PCV system on my 2001 Volvo S80 T6 and during disassembly I ran into an issue with the ETM (electronic throttle module) connector.
The wiring itself is intact, but the connector at the throttle body is damaged. Specifically, the yellow semi-soft insert inside the connector (the internal isolator / terminal carrier that aligns and cushions the 6 pins against the throttle body pins) is broken/deformed. Because of this, the connector no longer seats properly on the throttle body and will not lock in place securely.
The throttle body itself is fine and the pins are straight and undamaged. The problem is purely the connector internals, not the ETM.
My questions:
- Is this yellow internal insert available separately, or
- Does Volvo only supply this as a complete connector / repair pigtail?
- If a pigtail is the correct solution, does anyone have the OEM part number for the correct 6-pin ETM connector used on the S80 T6 (2001)?
Thanks in advance.
