'87 740 GLE Wagon minor annoyances & A/C work Topic is solved

Just bought '87 740 GLE Wagon to go w/ '95 850 Turbo Wagon.
RE: '87 740, Is there a simple fix for gas guage that works "sometimes"?
Driver's seat rocks a bit but nothing seems broken. Ideas?
Dash indicates I have a bulb out somewhere, but sure I don't.
Should I cover the annoying light w/ tape and ignore it
OR do I have an electrical problem somewhere in the
light circuits?
I'm about to take the A/C evaporator out since it leaks. Have
new one to put in and will change the system over to
R134 at the same time. Still have to get hold of the
new valves for that. Any hints on any of this A/C work?
