93 960 service light??? Topic is solved

So I picked up this old 93' 960 with 192K on it.
Runs nice but I have notice the service light come on a few times.
Only lights up at startup and turns off after a few minutes (3-5) when the car gets warmed up.
I know this is not much info to go just wondering if anyone has any ideas.
Guess I will need to get the code pulled.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem with service engine light staying on for 2-4 minutes evey time I start the engine. Should I be concerned? Thanks for the advice.

service light is just a reminder that it is time for service (oil change). Check engine light is another matter. On my 240 there is a reset lever on the back of the speedo I think it is probably easier on your car but I do not know where your reset is.

I feel like a fool. It is true, the check engine and service engine lights are both on the instrument panel near each other. My older Volvo had only the check engine light, so I got confused. Thanks for the heads-up.
Anyway, since my 1994 Volvo 940 has the service light, where could I find how to reset it since I do my own oil change? Any suggestions? Thanks.
