1986 volvo trunk won't open Topic is solved

i bought a 86 240 and have both keys. the trunk key operates the pushrod and vied through the ski door.
There is no resistance when i depress the latch.
I see what may be pry marks as I look the ski door.
I would like to find a way to trick this trunk open.
It is possable to reach the mechanism with a long screwdriver or a stack of 3/8 extentions.
Any help?

i used long 3/8 extension. I can't remember if it was my wifes 740 or my 240 once I unbolted it fixing it was easy.
