89 760 turbo won't start Topic is solved

My 1989 760 turbo won't start, it ran fine with no problems noticed. I changed the cap, rotor, plugs and wires. The timing checked good and the engine cranks but won't start. There is no spark, can anyone help?

The small wires for the pick-up coil run through a gromet on the side of the distributor jsut under the cap. This gromet often cracks and will not stay in place, this can cause the small wires to short on the distributor case and cause a no start. The gromet can be purchansed from your dealer for about $3 and replaced.

I noticed the hall sensor broken on the distributor, so i changed the distributor, with no luck, still won't start
