Help with crankshaft position sensor installation

Post by tango_1000 »

I have a C70 2007 with 100k automatic
I just install a new crankshaft position sensor, I also had to replace the bracket for it...that was a pain.
But everything was OK I though, unfortunately the the car didn't start when I tried.
Any help appreciate. The engine turn ok, it sounds like the is no gas getting to it, but turns and try to start.
I did disconnect the battery for a while, but it didn't help
Thank you everyone

Do you need to disconnect the battery when changing the crankshaft position sensor?
