Have another post that is similar. Can't figure out a bulb issue. When I start my car and release the break pedal, I get a warning that says "check stop lamp". The issue is that it is not my tail light that is out. It is the high beam headlamp on the driver's side.
Now, if I disconnect battery, The first time I start car and release break pedal I get the warning "multiple bulb position failure" but if I shut car off and restart the car, after releasing brake, it goes back to "check stop lamp"
I have attempted to change the relay in the fuse panel under the glove box. That did not do anything.
I did notice that the headlight switch in dash to left of steering column looks like it is not sitting tight in the dash but I dont know that it has anything to do with my current issue.
At one point I changed the entire headlight assembly on driver side and that did not fix the problem.
Any ideas?

I would try to find electrical diagram and inspect if there is any common feeds between brake and headlight. Maybe they are being commanded by BCM? I would focus on finding ground connectors for the BCM and right headlight and see if they are not corroded.
