2007 S40 Scheduled Maintenance

Post by jh32488 » Fri Jul 29, 2016 12:19 pm

I've never owned a car, until now, that I've cared about enough to get the factory maintenance done. (I've only had one car that was under 160,000 miles.) Anyways, I have a 2007 S40 in great shape. I'm less than 2,000 miles from 90,000 so I was checking the local Volvo dealer website for maintenance pricing, the same dealer I bought it from. They offer two packages. One for $317.95 and one for $362.85 the only difference being tire rotation, alignment check, and fuel system cleaner.

What do you guys think? Doesn't Volvo recommend not using fuel system cleaner? I should probably get my tires rotated every 7,500 miles anyways ($24.95 separately). What about alignment check? They charge $79.95 for an alignment. They don't list a price for a separate check...

Here is the maintenance schedule for my car: http://volvo.custhelp.com/app/manuals/O ... /om_id/420

According to my Carfax the last scheduled service my car had was at 60k which means the spark plugs for my engine (38) weren't replaced at 75k as is recommended, so I'll add that on. Am I overlooking something else that should have been done in those 30k miles?
