Just bought this used. Have driven about 200 miles and this evening the CEL popped on. Pulled the code,p219A. I didn’t see anything on here referencing this code.
Question 1: what is the likely culprit here? I planned on doing a tune-up since I didn’t have much as far as maintenance records.
I am finding the gen1 has a slue of known issues. But I really like the car.
Question 2: what’s the best way to ensure the oil consumption issue doesn’t become catastrophic? Besides a new engine I mean.

That code refers to an improper air/fuel ratio.
Possible causes are vacuum leak, exhaust leak, dirty injector(s), bad O2 sensor, improper fuel pressure, to name a few…
