I have a XC60 T6 3.0 I am trying to figure out what this coolant hose is called to get a new one. On passenger side, It is a fitted hose with a clamped end and a screwed in fitting. From block and goes to the the other side of the oil filter. Its probably 5-6" long kinda "S" shaped i cant find one online to order by name. My daughter wss driving home and it blew out. Sorry i dont know how to put a picture up but is similar in design to Coolant Hose - 30713530
Thanks for any help

Re: Coolant line from block Topic is solved
Take a look at this link
https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic32245.html
I believe the hose you are looking for is (part numbers are from Land Rover)
LR001442 - Coolant Hose for heat exchanger
LR000491 - Bolt for Heat exchanger hose
LR001505 - O-Ring for heat exchanger hose
You will need the hose and the O ring
If you prefer to buy the part in a Volvo box
Then use this part number 30713530
I don’t know the part number for the O ring from Volvo
Which is why I just buy the Land Rover part
I did change this hose and O ring on my S80 and LR2 (before it started leaking)
Good luck
Paul

Re: Coolant line from block
Thank you Paul. THAT is the exact hose I had mentioned above! Weird that the site I went to previously to purchase said it was for a different engine code. I must not have read the VIN right.
Thanks Again
Mike

Re: Coolant line from block
Mike,
It's not that hard to replace.
Just remember to remove the old O-ring and plastic pieces from the engine block.
This is a common failure point on the 3.2 and 3.0T
I plan to replace mine every 10 years or every 100,000 miles.
You should also be thinking about replacing the Thermostat because it has a similar lifetime to the coolant hose that failed on your XC60.
Good Luck

Re: Coolant line from block
Ive replaced the thermostat last year. The metal factory band slid off the hose. I will make sure everything comes out. I only plan on having the car maybe 2 more years. After my daughter finishes her masters program. The csr has a lot of highway miles, my wife, her old car, is in sales, just gotta get it thru a little longer. Thanks for the tips ive ordered the hose and O-ring today.
