I like Shark products. I bought this (a refurb, same as this) in May 2025 and it's been great. I have three (why?!) housecats and as you might know housecats tend to, uh, regurgitate things from time to time. Hairballs, food, etc.

I owned a Bissell brand carpet cleaner prior to this and that was kind of a monster... large, didn't work right, hoses and attachments hanging off... not great. I much prefer this Shark because it doesn't have all that. It does one thing and does it well. I like how it's designed. It's far more reliable and way better at cleaning carpet. Anyway, here it is.

It helps MVS when you use all these MVS Amazon links. Thanks in advance.

A couple amazon.com purchases to fix Volvos:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BVVMP25F?re ... title&th=1
Automotive Door Weather stripping. This appears to be an exact fit for Volvo 240 sedan trunk seal. Cheap and easy to install. Improved my 1987 244 trunk leak a lot.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KGMWTBL?re ... asin_title
Nylon Body Flange Nuts. I used these to replace lost flange nuts on the fire wall insulation on 2001 V70. It looks like these will also work for fender inner liner. They have handy 10 mm hex head.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F6CS8QNY?re ... title&th=1
Boroscope camera with end and side lens and LED lights. It connects to smart phone. This works fairly well - great for the price.

I bought this spark plug gauge because it has 0.027 inch (0.7 mm) wire for T5 turbo spark plug recommended gap. None of my wire typr gap gauges have this size.

Thanks for taking the time to post your Amazon buys, VLN! Have you had a chance to use the borescope? The weather stripping product is extra good because any substitute for NLA parts is gold.

On a more (very?) mundane note, here's my latest Amazon buy: (very shocking, very exciting, high emotion... drumroll please)

I think grocery stores margins are getting squished to pancake size, and they can only respond by hiking non-food item's prices because any increase in coffee/eggs/bread etc gets met with howls of disappointment from the public. So they have to be sneaky. Anyway, this stuff at a grocery store is about 2x the cost (per pod unit) of a larger unit like this.

Yes, I tried the borescope. It has good lighting and good definition. It is a little clumsy to look in an engine cylinder and turn the side camera to look 360 degree. All you can do is turn the cable and that generally means turning the phone as well. I expect practice will make it easier. I found quite a bit of carbon on my pistons and intake valves.

Our local Homeland Grocery store is changing their selection of items. Fewer size options and some items not available for weeks or just gone missing. I asked a long time employee and she said management is trying to improve profit margin. Later I thought I should have said, if customers can't find what they want, they will go elsewhere.
One of the changes is more spacing on the shelf between different items. But the shelves still look empty.
Our only real alternatives in town is Walmart and dollar stores.

I've ordered these trash bags once a year for 3 years. I went back to the first order and hey, it was the same price as now. I take wins where I find them.
