1969 special order COPO Camaro L72 427 4 speed, unrestored. They built a thousand of these.

If anyone is curious, these were a hidden backdoor in the order book that only a dealer would know about. You could check some boxes and it deleted radios, A/C, etc, and added a heavy duty suspension and a big block.
A handful of dealers figured it out and ordered a bunch of them to resell to other dealers and drag racers.

My original 4.5x15 wheels. They’re original / proper / correct, but damn they’re skinny and I’m not going to any shows. Original tire was 155-15.

I found someone selling these widened (banded) wheels from a machine shop in NC in the 70’s. 6x15. Not extreme, not so deep to be too hotroddy, but the top of the hubcap is flush with the rim. I stripped and painted them. Someday I’ll finish this thing and we’ll see how they look. 185/65-15 is the same diameter, but a hard size to find performance tires in.
