Cheap OBD II code scanner prices

Post by matthew1 »

I went to my Amazon.com cart today after placing these code scanners in it two weeks ago.
Please note that the price of Autel MaxiScan MS300 CAN OBD-II Code Reader has increased from $34.99 to $39.99 since you placed it in your Shopping Cart. Items in your cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on their product detail pages.

Please note that the price of Equus 3030 Innova Diagnostic Code Reader for OBDII Vehicles has decreased from $59.99 to $54.49 since you placed it in your Shopping Cart. Items in your cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on their product detail pages.

Not earth shattering news, just FYI in case you're looking. The MS300 is (was?) the lowest-priced scanner I found that would a) read and b) reset codes. Bare bones, no frills, no dealer specific codes, no SRS codes. The 3030 is basically the same thing in a slightly nicer package.

Armed with either of these and the internet, you can uncover, research and fix 99% of problems on your OBD II Volvo. If you have a '93 to '96, you too can uncover, research and fix 99% of problems on your Volvo, only you don't need one of these code readers. :!:
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

I have this one:
https://www.amazon.com/U581-OBDII-EOBDII ... 602&sr=1-1
Is it as good as the ones you are mentioning?
Because it does not read many of the Volvo specific codes ...
