Not earth shattering news, just FYI in case you're looking. The MS300 is (was?) the lowest-priced scanner I found that would a) read and b) reset codes. Bare bones, no frills, no dealer specific codes, no SRS codes. The 3030 is basically the same thing in a slightly nicer package.
Armed with either of these and the internet, you can uncover, research and fix 99% of problems on your OBD II Volvo. If you have a '93 to '96, you too can uncover, research and fix 99% of problems on your Volvo, only you don't need one of these code readers.
