the other down side of this will be that no one will want to buy a for now either considering that a great deal of safety technology in fords today comes from Volvo
I'd never buy another Ford anyway. I've always liked the looks of Fords out of the American auto makers. Safe, maybe. Reliable, no. My family has owned both an Expedition and (presently) an Escape and they've both been pieces of crap. Nicely designed interiors though.

I think my problem is there are just very few new cars out there that I actually like. I'll guess I'll haveta stick to (used) Hondas - I can't stand the new ones, or the European brands from now on after I wear this car out
My parents are looking to buy a used V70 or S60 in the near future, I won't say I had nothing to do with talking them into it.
