What's so significant about this in my opinion is that Volvo spun up that URL http://usparts.volvocars.com/ for actual use -- and that they went around their dealers to sell parts, in effect*. Good for SimplePart in getting that lucrative position. SP hasn't been on my radar, but they are now.

SimplePart Selected as Official Parts & Accessories e-Commerce Vendor for Volvo Car USA
Volvo Car USA and SimplePart have recently launched the official Volvo USA Parts & Accessories program, now making it easier than ever for Volvo owners and enthusiasts to browse and shop for OEM Volvo products online. The national site connects users to the full, up-to-date catalog, then allows them to complete their order with their nearest participating dealer. And with more dealers joining the program daily, the genuine parts, accessories or gear that owners need are usually just a few clicks (or miles) away.
“We are always driven by the success of our clients, the individual dealers. Volvo dealers who have used our platform have seen remarkable success growing their parts and accessories business,” said Cole Getzler, Founder and CEO of SimplePart. “We look forward to working with Volvo to maximize the potential of online parts and accessories throughout their entire dealer network.”
SimplePart, an Atlanta-based tech company, is also the official vendor for parts and accessories e-commerce for several other OEMs, including Subaru, BMW Motorrad, Volkswagen and Audi. SimplePart's team is made up of geeks and gearheads, some with prior dealership experience, so they've got a good grasp on what both consumers and dealers want out of the online catalog experience.
“Year after year, more and more people are fulfilling their shopping needs online,” said Chris Dixon, Fixed Operations Manager at Volvo Cars Hilton Head and Volvo of Savannah. “Their automotive parts needs are no different, and SimplePart provides us a great way to reach these customers.”
