I've got VIDA working, can read and clear codes etc, but really hoped to be able to investigate my xc90's false alarms going off.
When I'm in VIDA- Diagnostic, Vehicle Communication - I can see all the car's modules, and can see most of them are green, but clicking on them does nothing except make the browser window seem to flash darker along the title bar. Like some sort of dialogue is popping up. But I can't see anything else changing, nothing to click on, no messages.
I've tried with the key in position I, II and with the engine running.
(out of interest, does it matter typically what position it's in when reading codes? I figured leaving the key in position II)
Any help? Thanks!
Vida - modules greyed out? Topic is solved

What I mean is, the green modules, when clicked on don't show any info below. See this example found on Google Images:
When I try, nothing appears below, the Parameters, Activations etc tabs are all greyed out.
Apologies, I don't think I explained that well enough

YES! Right click worked! Thanks
Quite a strange interface, needing a right click for accessing that! Also, when the information page comes up with a description of reading alarm causes, you need to click on the little graphic of the alarm module! Really isn't clear!
Also I'm sure it said the alarm triggers were 3125 days ago (Almost ten years!!) When I'm sure it meant 3125 hours (About 130 days)
All the recent alarm triggers were caused by the mass movement sensor, so I guess that could do with being changed?
