Mechanic says that the screaming noise is coming from a front differential which will need to be replaced. I can't really do that work myself, so I figured I'd give the good people of this forum a chance to make an offer before this beauty is off to the junk yard. Nominally the price is $200, but I will consider any offer that gets this vehicle out of my driveway asap.
