This is where I am after 4 months with an impulse buy. I wanted a rwd.

This is a red 1998 v70 base model (non-turbo, no AWD) with a 5 speed manual. The original chassis mileage is ~346,000. The engine mileage is ~244,000 and climbing. This car was originally purchased new by an older lady in Ohio. I am, at the minimum, the 4th owner. It drives well and performs better! I am asking for $2200 obo. Here are the positive and negative points.

Positive:
suspension feels decent
good power as I recently hauled a 2500LB load from my dad's to my apt to a friend's back to my dad's with no issues
new plugs and wires by 2nd to last owner
Clutch about 30,300 miles old (clutch engages very soon, ~95% clutch left) from 2nd to last owner
Timing belt and water pump also changed by 2nd to last owner
New headlights changed by 2nd to last owner
all rear light housings are used replacements and bolted/sealed to the body with gasket maker
new ATE PremiumOne rotors all around
new ceramic brake pads
new parking brake pads (parking brake required for my job)
new radiator
new coolant reservoir
new coolant hoses all around
new radiator mount bolts (JB Welded)
new PCV box & box hoses
new fuel pump
new fuel filter (not installed)
fresh alignment
fresh oil change (12/23/21)
replaced factory horn with 2x Wolo 310-2t (suppose to be 380-2t but was scammed)
new relay ready to install with the Wolo horns to make the right sound
replaced factory 12v sockets with 2 dual usb qc3.0 port sockets (dedicated switch to turn on)
new headlight wiper arms, blades, and hoses
new cluster LED bulbs excluding the Christmas tree boxes
new 1 Skar 6.5 EVL sub on sc901 center channel
new 4 Skar 3.5 tweeters
new 2 rear Skar 6.5 FSX Pro audio speakers
fairly new Bosch Clear Advantage wipers all around
new hitch since ive owned it

upgraded 195/60r15 base volvo wheels to 2001 s80 2.9NA with 205/55r16 (2 gy comfortred touring a/s and 2 of the revolutionary Michelin CrossClimate 2 a/s)
upgraded cluster from base with no dial to the premium average mpg/mph/0-empty cluster w/ dial
rear fog light switch

Negative:
Needs new catalytic converter ($109 total for universal (required) Magnaflow 91005 on Amazon/eBay)
partially rusty rear bumper brackets (buy a pair from jy)
no shift knob (dumb kids my age like dumb aftermarket knobs)
front black wheel well plastic needs resecuring to front bumper (the michelins rub at sharp turns)
sc901 cd player is jammed (yatour mt-06 included)
roof is dented (someone vandalized it at night)
2nd row 40% split seat belt jammed 2 days ago, unable to unstick (there must be a fix for that on here?)
rear bumper has a nice sized ball hitch impression from previous hitch
exhaust rattles near the cat, releasing smell and bit of noise (echos on compact Main st here)
has a small steering fluid leak (have not investigated)
headliner fallen 2" from edge on front driver and front passenger side

All in all I think this car has a lot of life left in it. Purchase price of this car includes any remaining P80 parts I may have and any parts (including the AWD) you want to take off of my chopped black and white V70XC trailer. $2200. Make best offer. Located in Antlers, Oklahoma.

Not sure. I really do. That would hit the spot for sure! LOL that was fast. This red one really bummed me out. Probably because it was on impulse and not what i really wanted (a rwd). I would say yes to a 940 wagon quickly but that six cylinder man...and that sound...and the comfort...

Considering that noone is showing interest, and because a road trip would not be the most comfy in a coupe (my honda), I think Ill keep this until after My road trip in March. If someone wants this car before then, Ill willingly and happily sell it. I can handle a coupe.
