1998 V70 T5M in Nautic Blue in Antelope, CA

Post by FireFox31 »

My saved searches found a 1998 V70 T5M in Nautic Blue in Antelope, CA. It's at SalvageReseller.com. Here's an Autotrader link with the AutoCheck report. It will be auctioned 7/31/25 and has some purchaser restrictions.

VIN # YV1LW5346W2383926 with 235,207 miles as of 10/22/2020, spent its life in California. It's in rough shape with a dented fender and sun burnt/peeling on the hood and elsewhere. That's a biohazard sticker on the windshield so this might be a big problem or just mold. The interior and engine bay look rather nice for the age/mileage. The Autocheck report shows it was driven 10k miles a year until 2018, less until 2020, then no reports after that.

With only about 250 of these manual wagons imported in two years, hopefully someone will consider rescuing and restoring this one.

I thought all 1998-1999 V70 T5 manual had the same transmission. Are you saying they were offered in two different manual transmissions with M56 being one of them? If so, then what is the the other one? And what exactly is the M56?

.
The majority of the other websites are selling Copart cars. Take Lot #48811945 and Google. Due to some states not having commerce with Copart you need a reseller / middleman to help you purchase a Copart car thereby adding additional fees on top of the Copart fees. Also, there are restrictions for some sales meaning not open to the public as is this one even with the help of any resellers. You can skip the Auction on this one and Buy It Now for $450 or Make An Offer if you know a Dismantler or Dealer who can help you make the purchase. May have to Title to them first then to you though I've have not gone that route before.
