Ill be honest it sounds like something generous Robert would do. Ill say Robert is very good with teaching people through his videos and being their mobile mechanic. But it disappointed me to hear him say on his channel he would start charging $10 for 10min of talking on the phone for advice. I actually called him because Im fed up with the electrical issue on the gray 850. I told him everything is going haywire and I didnt know what to do. $10 for 10min. I told him I wasnt sure about that. Should I take him up on that?
Im just about ready to list it for sale on here for $1000.

With his knowledge and experience I'd gladly pay Robert for his insight to your car's issues. Heck, my buddy is glad paying $210 CDN (about $150 US) for an hour of a Volvo dealer's mechanic time so they can confirm what we have told Volvo about his son's car's problem and they have now done that and agreed the fuel pump is indeed faulty. We have no wiggle room on this as to get the warranty on the pump failing they have to diagnose it for the warranty to go through. I understand it why they have to do this but really, Robert's $10 is well worth it!
I'll get my brother to confirm his willingness to drive the car to you if you decide to buy it. By comparison, there is a 97 850 sedan up here that has been donated and possibly worked on by trainees in a shop program for sale here in Calgary. The front bumper (NLA for about 10 years) is completely smashed and they want the equivalent of over $3000 US + 5% tax!

I'll take $2300. I had the back up on ramps yesterday to clean the ABS sensors. There is rust on the exhaust and some fasteners.
After sensor cleaning I didn't get Tracs/ABS light, but it was only one test drive, and the lights were intermittent, so I can't assume the cleaning worked yet.
