WTB Volvo Part # 31268055 (C30 C70 S40 V50 Infotainment Display)

This is the green LCD screen and interface that displays the radio, the Climate system, and the car configuration menus.

My 2010 v50 has an LCD screen that has started to show orange spiderwebs, and that means that it is doomed.
So I need to at least solder in a new display, or swap the whole module.
eBay has many for sale, but none seem to have been tested, and most sellers say "no returns".

Below are photos of my existing unit for comparison.

1982 240DL: Drove it 32 years and 1.5 million miles (sold, even still had mint leather!)
2001 v70 2.4T: The most expensive $1500 car I ever bought ("Volvo Turbo" - what an oxymoron!) (sold)
2004 v70: Far less fatally-flawed v70 - It served well (sold)
2010 v50: Smaller, slightly sportier wagon. Its got a spoiler, so I upgraded with sway bars!

Is this part of the floating center dash or is it behind the dash?

This is the only display in the "waterfall" console for "P1" cars that have that display.

Yes, that eBay part is a similar part with the same part number, but at $129 the pricing is predatory - I was hoping to find something a little less costly from which I could remove the LCD display from the circuit board, and attach it to my existing circuit board, and avoid the "reprogramming" that would be required at the dealer to "mate" a new module with an existing car.

I pulled 2 of these from a junkyard. Unfortunately neither had this part number. Probably as they are Canadian and out stuff is in C not F.

I'll have to check the part numbers now and see what the part number refers to.
