Sounds like a good candidate for parting out. Turbo and all the IPD goodies would certainly get you the money you are looking for.

wow. i wish you were in atlanta. would take this whole thing no matter what the wife says. would at least take the perfos if you were parting out.

There's a '99 T5 at pull a part right now with a set of nice Perfos. I'd love them, but I have other parts I need more right now.
I hate to think that car's rotting... there are SO many good parts, full SC901 radio, the Perfos, 16T turbo that's still there, front floor mats in FANTASTIC shape (considering it's a salvage yard car), heated front seats with no tears in the leather, and so much more. I'd hate to see this T5M end up in the same place... but you better believe I'd have the transmission if it does!
