I have pulled this amplifier from a recently junked S80 T6 along with the factory amplifier harness. The amplifier was tested for operation on my own personal vehicle afterwards; it works!
The foam on the outside of the wrapping material on the harness is starting to disintegrate, but the wiring itself is good - there are no cuts or tears.
This kit allows you to bypass the internal amp of a HU-4xx or HU-6xx factory deck and install the PA200 amp underneath the passenger front seat. This amp was previously mated to a HU-803. PA200 = 50x4 watts
I am using an otherwise identical amp with a HU-613 on my own car with a similar kit.
Also included is the factory installation instructions for S60/V70/S80 applications.
Not shown but INCLUDED is a 30-amp fuse that you will need to add to the the #17 slot in the fusebox to complete the aux amp circuit. The 2 mounting bolts for the amp itself are also included.
Most cars will have the power harness already pre-wired. I am including a ~12-inch length the power harness pigtail in case your car is not pre-wired, but a cursory check at the junkyard found that even a lowly '01 base V70 was prewired for amp's power+ground.
Installation caveats:
1) For V70 applications, you may need to elongate the mounting holes on one of the amp brackets with a unibit. If you'd like me to elongate the hole on the bracket as well, please let me know.
2) On some cars, the mounting holes on the floorpan are physically there but they may not be threaded. If that is the case, you will need a M6x1.00 metric tap.
