One of the best salvage yards in Pennsylvania volvo galore!

HO-LEE CRAP.

http://www.joesusedautoparts.com/EZPull.html

Not too far from rt. 309 up towards tamaqua...Kind of a haul, but WAAAAAAAAY worth it. TOONNNNSSS of 700 series, a whole bunch of 200 series, and 850's galore!!! I even found an old 1960's or 70's 100 series Easter Egg! It is seriously just cars, as far as they eye can see. My dad forgot his tools and I don't have that much of a collection of my own as of yet, so I didn't get a lot, but I walked out with 5 injectors for rebuilding and 2 tweeters for $24!!!

I'm making a thread on this...somewhere....because this is seriously the best place I have EVER been to. And their hours are waaay better than most yards.

IT'S HEAVEN! I HAVE FOUND HEAVEN! And it's a junkyard in New Ringgold, PA.

Thank xxjenoxx for this one its a volvo gold mine !

Hello, Thanks for the post idrivevolvo. You should be thanked for the list of Volvos you saw. Here's why. I just called them after getting the phone number from their website (thanks AGAIN for posting the link). When I asked them if they had 2001+ Volvos the fellow said "I don't know, we don't inventory parts". I told him the website was clear on that point and that I wasn't asking about parts; just if they had later cars. His answer was one for the ages: "We get cars all the time and the guy who stacks them up is the only guy who knows, and he doesn't ever come into the office". My question is: Why does that guy answer the phone? Kira ps Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's a GREAT salvage yard but they've got to have some involvement. K

well its the fact that they are constantly moving cars in and out. most yards will tell u import in this direction and domestic that way. but any thats part of the whole salvage yards experience its fun u get to see cars in there u never would have thought be in there. it would be nice for organization but i dont think you will see it anytime soon. : /

Hello, I copy you idrive but the joint's 3 hours from my home and we're not 18 any more. You're right, big salvage yards ARE the best. Kira

Actually, you would want to talk to Joe's and not the salvage for 2001 anyway. With the newer cars (and as is the case with MANY yards) they don't have them for a u-pull scenario. They pull the parts for you, because these parts are worth more money, and they can keep everything in good shape, and charge more because they pulled it. Sure you pay a bit more but it's better than going in and finding your part broken because some fool wanted what was behind it and ripped it to shreds to get there.
